Kraftank Barcelona

Kraftank was a brewpub and taproom located in the Eixample neighborhood in Barcelona.

Challenge

In 2018 the bar, previously known as NaparBCN decided to rebrand. Changing the name to Kraftank Barcelona. I was commissioned by its owner to design the new graphic identity for the bar.

The brewpub had 7 fermentation tanks, where in-house beer was made.

Solution

These tanks were the main source of inspiration for the new branding.

Brand

The “K”. The initial of the bar’s name and a synthesis of the fermentation tank came together in the design of the bars iconic symbol.

Applications

The applications designed for this brand were: coasters, take away cans, menu, poster system, beer pack, clothing for the staff and customers.

Creative Direction

To create engaging content for their social media channels. Monthly photoshoots were taken by Gorka. He captured the ambience of the bar, the customers enjoying the food and beers, and music, beer and sport events.
